Walt & Rose Shearer serve with International Interns, Inc. International Interns was founded by Reverend Walt Shearer in 1985 as a Mission Agency committed to fulfilling the Great Commission. In 1998, Walt began The Leadership Development Institute. They equip Christian leaders through mentor pastors to establish, edify, & rapidly extend the local church. The first class graduated in 2001 - all graduates planted at least one church. There are at least 22 new churches with more in different stages of the process. Originally, the plan was to train these men to be missionaries in Moldova, but God placed a burden in their hearts and now couples & graduates have gone to Turkey, Crimea, and other central Asian nations to reach the lost for Christ.
